The only two details that I might add are that she reinstated the sikh bodyguards because she didn’t want to look anti-sikh (the massacre of civilians and desecration of holy sites was fine??? But firing her bodyguards wasn’t???) and that the assassins literally just waited for her to walk past them and shot her. It was barely an assassination and almost suicide by sikh. She had been told to wear a bulletproof vest since the massacre and chose not to anyway.

Check the other comment I have posted. Operation Blue Star included many Sikh people, including Punjab Police.
The whole situation was a clusterfuck, no doubt about that.
