    Instagram does the same with recommended content and YouTube with shorts. You’d think that the algorithm would figure it out that I’m not interested after hiding them for the 20th time but apparently not. I’m sure there’s a bussiness logic to it but I don’t get it.

      If you got it, you would quit using Instagram. Meta is making money and AI tools to keep you in the loop, and you are funding it.

      I know I am being strong about the words, but damn what will it take to get people to quit using Meta products? It is unbelievable how difficult it is to get people to stop. I am starting to cut people out of my life if they stay on facebook, and instagram is next.

        Oh don’t worry - I only use Instagram and Facebook to advertise my business. I’m even funding the development of their competitor, Grok, for 30€/month, which I’m sure you’re glad to hear.
