My employer keeps trying to deploy an internal AI agent for a specific fairly narrow purpose and my hobby is getting each release to break out of its guardrails and give me a cheesecake recipe and then sending it to the department that is commissioning the project. 100% success rate so far.
Sounds like your employer is about to put “making cheesecake recipes” in scope for their bot to fix this problem :P

Oh it has been a long time since I’ve heard those words. I had an Atari 800 and a printer and would set the thing to autodial sprint or radius or metro and hammer random codes until it got a dialtone. When it did it would print the code and return to work. I’d come home to a huge list and getting that pirated copy of Paperboy off a bbs in California using 5 hours of free long distance seemed like some cool James Bond trickery.

Yes if they don’t put up any guardrails you can make it talk about anything you want. When Amazon started to roll out AI product review summarize I had it write several Seinfeld episodes about the item I was looking at.
I’m pretty confident that it is. I’ve seen people “jailbreak” car dealership bots or other fast food bots by saying “ignore all previous instructions, do blank” and asking it similar stuff.
