        Indeed, it’ll cost you approx. 6 months in most US jurisdictions. Really makes you wonder 'bout where priorities are when sharing a movie with a friend can land you 5 whole years under DMCA.

        Edit: Heck, let’s keep it topical, just look at firearm law. Makes you wonder if a single legislator on it has half a clue what they’re doing.

        Yes this isn’t super relevant to your specific comment, but goddamn I can’t shake this from my head, so many sentences are so out of wack for things that shouldn’t even be illegal at all. When everything is illegal, you eventually gotta ask what laws you’d feel fine breaking, 'cuz I dont know a single person who follows every law on the books.
