interesting what lab worker who validating tests, did throught when seen 4616 pmol of estradiol with “male” marker (well if its not anon, the probe itself had my last name but the last name was gender neutral)
i keep selecting “male” on the form every time i get my blood work done, because the results include a column which shows the “reference value”, and it will never stop being funny to me that both my values are approximately an order of magnitude outside of their expected range
recently i have result 2151 pg but it was because i just touched gel with left hand
i give nurse right hand but she did not find vein, so well… left hand got wrong results
but i used chosen name this time
Aha. I’ve heard of that problem with gel. That’s why I like injections so much, they’re actually really hard to fuck up…
Whatever works best for you tho!
Good that you got to use your chosen name. Proud of ya Erin 🩷
That reminds me that I need to do my injection today…
Yeah, needles can be scary, especially at first…
But, as you get more practice using them, you can eventually become a needlemancer and then they listen to you :3
there also vendor who do estradiol enanthate in insulin pens
Huh, I’ve heard of people filling insulin syringes from an EEn vial for SubQ injection…
No idea they made pre-filled ones too!
overall diy injectables is very hard to get
Really? I thought injectables would actually be the easiest to get DIY, because you don’t need a lot and it’s just a small vial…but I guess gel/patches could also work DIY.
||sanctions||
Aha. I see…
I’m sorry to hear that Erin 🫂. I’m sorry you have to live in such a place, especially right now…
