Okay, here are my theories on why we don’t normally see all these coffee cups laying around wherever she goes:

she has the transporter chief beam a concentrated slow-release coffee dispersal device directly into her veins once per hour - yes that’s right, the coffee she’s holding is her supplemental cup, to get her through the hour until the next infusion! :-P

After Seven joined the crew, she had the Doctor construct a modified version of one of her implants to infuse that sweet caffeine nector.
Okay but in that case then… what does she use the liquid version for?
