Edit: Got busy and forgot to credit @jeffw@lemmy.world for the quote. The meme was inspired from their reply to my comment in another thread.

    I’m flattered lol

Edit: hijacking my newfound fame just to say RIP a couple years late. Nothing beats the awkward episode of Archer where they cut up a bunch of her old dialogue to try to make one last hurrah/goodbye for Jessica Walter. It ends with a pretty touching and appropriate send off

I wouldn’t characterize Lucille as “evil”. More of an aloof rich bitch. At worst, passively evil. lol.

Lucille definitely knew what was happening with the family business and most likely let George Sr. take the fall while she lived on the profits. When the family was actually going to lose their money, she goes to a white collar prison that is almost like a country club. It would be a harder case to admit she was aloof than the smartest person in the family.

Eh, true. I’ll accept that. But she wasn’t actively trying to make other people’s lives worse (except maybe Lucille 2), so I still view her more favorably than Lake lol. I also I guess I meant she was aloof to everyone around her rather than the family business.

Oh man, I hope you are using the past tense because of some news I haven’t come across yet.

Honestly all I really remember about Gilligan’s Island is the massive crush I had on Mary-Anne. And Ginger, to a lesser extent.
