      I don’t feel strongly positively or negatively about it, but if it’s spoken with clear intent to diminish me, I like that person and their application of the phrase less.

      Words are just words. It’s how and why they’re used that matters.

        If someone tries to belittle you by calling you ‘good boy’ you look them square in the eyes and tell them “pardon me but I’m the best boy actually”
