This photoshop job is leaps and bounds better than what /c/Risa deserves.

Yeah, there’s a lot of little touches in there, like the “Delta Flyer 3” on the car that really elevate it beyond the standard slapdash meme. I prefer to post my own OC, but when I saw this one, I knew it had to be shared.

      … photoshop?

You’re telling me that Robert Duncan McNeill isn’t shredded?

Of course he is, the meme creator just 'shopped RDM’s torso onto whatever C-lister was there before.

This gets even better when you realize that Robert Duncan McNeill played two distinct characters with identical appearances and personalities in Star Trek canon.

Which one is riding with Belanna? Then again, do we even know how many transporter clones Barbie has dated?

Fun fact: Tom Paris was originally intended to be Nick Locarno, until they realized they would have to pay the writers of that episode royalties every single episode… At which point they just filed the serial numbers off and we got “this guy who totally isn’t Nick Locarno.”

Surely they could have just negotiated a deal with the episode writer for one reasonable up-front payment to buy out the rights? The Voyager producers held all the cards - either the writer take the deal or they would (as they did) invent a new character with some superficial similarities played by the same actor.

If Tom were as devoted as Ken, maybe their marriage would have gone more smoothly.

Also to be heavy for a sec, if anything Tom had too strong a sense of self, kind of the opposite of Ken…
