People who have renounced their citizenship is specifically a disqualification for owning a firearm in the US. They should’ve done their reSEaRcH first.
Also, you can’t buy a firearm and then be rejected on the background check. It works the other way around: pass background check, then buy firearm. Probably a grammatical error, but yeah, words matter.
As for advice: go down to your local hospital and tell them you need to have your head examined due to obvious blunt force trauma.
Kinda. You can buy one, pay for it, and start the background check in the store. They don’t hand it over until the background check clears, but you did already pay for it. It can take ten minutes, or a few days. I’m sure the shop will give you a refund if it fails, but I can’t attest to that. Just went through it a few weeks ago.
If you’re not a US citizen, you don’t have a Second Amendment right.
Noncitizen residents in the US are protected by the constitution. This includes the second amendment.
The second amendment talks about the right to keep and bear arms, not to purchase them.
They are free to buy them in the imaginary country they belong to, following their imaginary regulations.
“Any advice?”
Go cry.
I’m pretty sure in a lot of places this would flag them for any future purchase too.
Well, first thing sovcit absolutely did not buy a shotgun today.
Did they buy the gun, or were they rejected?
Anyway, nobody tell them about gun shows
Op must be black. They denied him a shotgun!?
A surprising number of sovcits are black.
