What a shithead. He’s been a garbage mayor. I can’t believe he ran unopposed.
Oh, nice of him to out himself as a grifter then.
“Next spring, I will be voting in the Republican primary. When my career in elected office ends in 2027 on the inauguration of my successor as mayor, I will leave office as a Republican.”
I’m thinking some Dallas residence may read that statement as “leaving only in 2027? Not fast enough” and start recall efforts.
