The title is a quote by Angela Davis, who was one of the three authors of “Abolition. Feminism. Now.”, so it’s just adding a little cross-media references to the content in the post. Other than that, the other kind person did a wonderful job explaining everything.
Probably doesn’t help that I have the handwriting of a middle schooler 😂
It’s OK, friend. I just misinterpreted your post as some sort of obscure dog whistle for some hate group or something. I’m glad it was just me not understanding a complex subject. Keep on getting smarter, peace.
What the fuck was that
Labels like feminism can become counterproductive when used as an insult I.e. that’s anti feminist!!!
Instead we should use Feminism as a lens to view other social issues to reveal solidarity between discriminated groups.
The final line is the most important:
When one group is discriminated against there necessarily must be other groups also discriminated against
This argument is closely related to Intersectionality. Read Crenshaw’s paper on intersectionality for further information.
Perfectly summarized, thanks!
Ok, but what about that no longer accepting things part? Or abolition of feminism? (did I get that wrong?)
‘Abolition. Feminism. Now.’
Is the title of the book OP is talking about.
‘No long accepting the things I can’t change’ is OP saying they are taking an activist stance on this/other issues.
