      I like this a lot. The stopping when full thing has helped, but your recommendation seems better. It may require a higher level of mindfulness and self control, but so be it.

          You probably already figured it out but portioning really helps with this. I struggled with the mystical “feeling full” thing too. Also, eating a little slower and forcing some time between finishing a plate and getting seconds can make a big difference.

        For me it requires self control to eat.

        I have ADHD and can’t remember shit. Regularly forget to eat, hate making food, eating is usually a chore I seek to finish quickly so I can get back to doing other things.

        Kept me very skinny so far at 30 years old!

      This is actually important because the “clean your plate” bullshit seems to have borked a lot of people’s abilities to gage when they they’re actually full.
