My god, don’t get me wrong I’m on your side but your post reminds me of the pAraDoX of tolerance. There ain’t no fucking paradox. Tolerance is a social contract and if you violate it by hating a certain group of people just because they exist then you violated the contract and we no longer have to tolerate you.

IIRC the person who coined the term said the same thing. It wasn’t actually a paradox, it was just meant to illustrate that tolerance is not absolute and so you cannot tolerate people who will not tolerate others themselves.

My goal is to hopefully to spread the idea far and wide that “tolerance is a peace treaty” that hopefully more people will think of it when they encounter the kind of people who scream things like “so much for the tolerant left” and the like.
Having the tools to fight nazis (rhetorical or otherwise) being spread far and wide will help us to defeat them again.
Fighting fascists with lethal force is not incitement of violence. It is act of self-defense and defense of the ones you love and care about. People who apologize for fascists directly, or in the “enlightened centrist” way are no better than the fascists themselves. If you find yourself defending Nazis you should check yourself, otherwise you’ll soon find yourself one of them.
Carrying Nazi imagery should be considered a reignition of hostilities, and be met with overwhelming force.
