I disagree. He’s been honing this for over 3 decades. He started talking shit in the 90s. Only his targets have changed somewhat, but his hatemongering remained the same (if somewhat invalidated now that his guy is in power).

Completely agree, It was always a grift to him. Even if he said stuff that resonated with a leftist audience one time doesn’t actually mean it is the true him. The true him is whatever political drivel makes him the most money and that is always the right wing.
