I remember a lot of conversations that went like

    “Why did they do 9/11”

    “They hate our freedom!”

“That’s… it? There’s got to be more to it than that”

“Shut up it’s too soon to talk about that stuff”

Ironically, if you think the US literally bombed its own citizens and covered it up; the conservatives are ok with that. Well, only in the 9/11 case. Not when it’s black wall street. They just don’t talk about that.

If you use hyperbolic language when discussing the war crimes that American troops committed in East Asia and explain how that comes back to hurt people in the US. Well, that’s just supporting terrorism.

The full clip of Hasan is literally in that context. He was covering the war crimes of the US. It’s why it’s cut so fucking short. It’s actually hard to find the full context anymore. It’s such an old clip. He was watching Dan Crenshaw on Joe Rogan. There was reason his response was emotional. Dan Crenshaw just justifying the presence of American troops in the US that literally lead to 9/11. The guy is saying “we need to do the thing that caused 9/11 to prevent 9/11”. It’s infuriating levels of stupidity.

It was likely this part of the video. Because he’s talking about 9/11.

Hasan wasn’t banned for saying it either. He was banned that same night for saying something about Dan Crenshaw getting eyehole fucked in Iraq. 2019 was an interesting time.

What portion of US adults are familiar with the My Lai Massacre, would you guess?
